Blackboard is
Baker’s internet-based course management system. It is used
extensively for our on-line and distance courses, and also as a
supplemental resource for many of our “face-to-face” courses.
Blackboard accounts are set up for students who are enrolled in
courses that include a Blackboard component. To access, use
the link provided above.
If you have trouble logging in to Blackboard, forget your password
or have other technical questions, please email Academic
Records. We will reply to your
email typically within one business day.
My Baker Portal allows you to see faculty
directory, your class schedule, your attendance, GPA calculator,
and your grades. Additionally, you will be able to review your
personal information and change your Portal password.

Instructions on how to set up your My Baker Portal account, along with username/password retrieval information.
If you are having problems with your
Baker University-issued laptop computer, please email HELPATSPGS@BAKERU.EDU.
During your first course with us, you will be assigned a Baker University
student email account. Your personal email account address will be set up using
your first initial, middle initial and last name. For example, if your name is
Richard L. Smith, your Baker University email address will be rlsmith@spgsmail.bakeru.edu. Your
Baker-issued email account is the only email address that is kept on-file and
is the only email address given to your instructors. It is extremely important
that you check your account regularly as it is the primary way for us to communicate
with you.
You can access your email at http://spgsmail.bakeru.edu. This
link provides screen shots to assist you in following the proper procedure for
login. If you need further
assistance with your email account please email HELPATSPGS@BAKERU.EDU.
For classrooms located in one of our
campus complexes, standard room setup includes a laptop computer,
LCD projector, overhead projector, and internet access. In some
of our classrooms, DVD/VCR combo units are also provided.
If you wish to reserve a particular piece of equipment, please email HELPATSPGS@BAKERU.EDU.
If you began our MASL program during the Fall 2004 term or later, your portfolio
will be housed electronically in TaskStream. Your
electronic portfolio is a collection of educational artifacts from your MASL
coursework and is a requirement of the program.
To access, use the information provided to you in your MAS 5010 Foundations of
Educational Administration course.
