Baker’s Associate of Arts in Business (AAB) program is ideal for an adult with a few previous college credits or for someone who’s just starting their college career. This 60-hour program provides a practical educational experience that prepares students for more advanced study plus introduces them to important fundamentals of business. You will have the opportunity to explore new ideas in a variety of content areas.

Faculty – Our instructors are working professionals from a diverse arena of disciplines. As experts in their respective fields, they will share their experiences and knowledge while challenging you to self-reflect and critically examine the world in which you live.

Transfer Hours – We will evaluate your transcripts from other regionally accredited colleges and universities to determine what transfers.

Financial Aid - Our programs are approved for federal financial loan programs. Contact Financial Aid for further information.

Accelerated Classes – Our Associate of Arts in Business program is designed to work with your existing schedule and lifestyle. Accelerated classes meet one night each week. You’ll meet weekly with your learning team also.

Apply and Start Anytime – Our classes are held year round with new classes starting frequently. You won’t have to wait long to get started!

Curriculum - Our Associate of Arts in Business program includes all of the general education credits required for completion of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) programs. You’ll take just one course at a time and complete the program in approximately 2 years.

   

Associate of Arts in Business (AAB)

Business
– Benefit from the practical business knowledge you’ll gain from courses such as Management, Economics, Advertising, Critical Thinking, Organizational Psychology, and Accounting.

Social Science – Learn how to manage living in today’s society by studying Psychology and American Politics.

Arts and Humanities – Explore a wide variety of interesting topics including Oral Communications, Theatre, History, Literature, Critical Thinking, and Religion.

Science – Master the art of healthy living by studying Human Nutrition and Human Ecology.

Math & English – Hone your skills in written communication and mathematics.

Admission Requirements:
• Completed application form & fee
• One year of full time work experience
• Two letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with the applicant's professional work experience
• A minimum TOEFL test score of 600 on the paper-based test, a score of 250 on the computer-based test, or score of 100 on the internet-based test for international applicants. (Minimum passing score may vary as the ETS revises the exam.)
• An official transcript from all regionally accredited colleges or universities attended
• An official high school transcript with a minimum GPA of 2.3 or official GED certificate with a minimum score of 47 is required if less than 12 credit hours are transferred
